Hi, trying to get a few 7750 devuices running in GNS3, i think im nearly there but when hitting the console connection, im getting the message
Alcatel7750timos12.0R6-1" requires 2048MB of RAM to run but there is only 1747MB - 12.7% of RAM left on "gns3vm
Any ideas how to resolve? Is it something on the Virtual Machine, are there any changes i can make to any settings to get it to run? thanks

Re: Timos image issues in GNS3
I am not familiar with GNS3. But if you wan to explore more. It's better use EVE-NG visit http://www.eve-ng.net/. it's linux based. So you can change the metadata to make suit with your system.

Hi.
Just ran into this myself, and I think you need to alter the amount of memory your GNS3 VM has to play with.
Go to Preferences, GNS3 VM, and increase the RAM size for your VM.
I did however get to boot the SROS with only 2048 MB RAM for my GNS3 VM, but I suspect this will not be stable if multiple SR's are beeing booted.
GNS3 reported error:
"SR-1" requires 2048MB of RAM to run but there is only 1733MB - 13.3% of RAM left on "gns3vm"
But its running..

Re: Timos image issues in GNS3
Hello,
if you want to run the image of the nokia router in gns3. You must run it using GNS3 VM (installed on virtualbox or vmware) and set the appropriate amount of RAM (for one router = 2048 MB). Then you have to enable kvm in the image settings (already in the program itself).

Re: Timos image issues in GNS3
The best way of running Nokia routers in GNS3 is to install GNS3 on a Linux server/PC and not mess around with nested virtualisation.
