Good evening,

Hoping someone maybe able to explain an issue I experienced today on one of the 7750 SR-12’s I have running as a cluster of 2 SeGW’s. I experienced a QChip error on IOM-1 on SeGW1 which caused one of the ISA’s to reload (MDA 3/2). This ISA holds tunnel-group 2 in standby and as such didn’t cause service distruption. Confusingly, this had a knock on affect causing ISA MDA 3/1 to reload on the second gateway. Again, this is the standby for tunnel-group 1 on SeGW2. I understand why the MDA rolled on SeGW1 but am slightly perplexed to what caused the other MDA on the second gateway holding tunnel-group 1 in standby to roll also.

Any explanation would be greatly appreciated.
