I just switch from desktop phones to ip softphones for windows Version 8068 (11.0.95.0).
Phonecentral is Alcatel OmniPCX small with Firmware from mid 2017.
I use it on physikal pc's and virtual pc's. On both it keeps crashing about every 1 to 2 days
on each pc.
Not during the call. Only if I dial a new number or wanna get a conected call. Although having the
windows calculator on and try to call... on the virtual machines it beginns to stutter. When the Softphone
crashes, it makes some short crackling noise - then die.
Are there konown issues in this constelation? Are there other free softphone availible who do their job better?
Hi
What is the error message? Can you post a screenshot of your current phone?
Sounds like you have an OXO. It is more likely to be a Windows issue rather than software one.
Unless you are using sip phones you are attached to use only Alcatel ones.

Ignorance is not the problem, the problem is the one who doesn't want to learn
I don't know about the newer version, ours is 3.0.0.1 (sort of suprised it still runs after 10 years), but i find this logg file to be helpful when debugging
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Alcatel\IpDesktopSoftPhone\trace_pcmm.txt"
