I am trying to install a new unboxed Alcatel-Lucent 8082 phone (sw: R300.01.012.2) on an OXO R920/041.001 with static IP network configuration. To change from static to dynamic I try to access the admin menu and I get the error : Wrong password. Administrator access is rejected. The password entered is the default one : *tx8000# . If I install the phone with dynamic settings IT registers and work OK. But there is no way I can change to static, as customer wants. I also tried a SSH connection directly to the LAN or PC port of the 8082 with the same password without any success, but I read another post here that SSh must be done from a an OXE terminal (no OXE around me here...). Some Technical Communications about 8082 release notes point to TC1661 or TC1729 that seems not to exist at Alcatel-Lucent business portal. Is there another specific 8082 password for OXO ?
Strangely, I deleted the any IP user, mac address, factory reseted OXO, disabled the dhcp at OXO, created a new 8082 ip set ony with mac addres entered ant the phone still registers taking 192.168.92.39 (an address from the disabled dhcp range). Is there a special range assigned to 8082 sets ?
I know what I did wrong with the first set: I let it register with DHCP and after downloading some necessary files the admin password changed to an unknown one. Wuth the second set , unconnected to PABX it worked with *tx8000# but after i managed static IP addresses and downloaded the config files it chnaged the default password again ! And i was back to my problem : can't set/change static IP address. So , the question is what is this new password ? How do I reset it at factory setting?
