OXO to OXE Conversion

Dear All

We have one OXO with 90 users and as per the client requirements system should be redundant so we wanted to shift the same to OXE common hardware.
In ACTIS we can convert OXO to OXE but while doing that i am unable to see any CS server even with the duplication.

Plus it is showing Waring for SPS and all options for SPS migration or restart are disable.


Can anyone please help to convert the system since i need to send the proposal @ th earliest.

Hello ,

You have to have an oxe to make centralization.
So First make an empty OXE with redundancy and then prepare a cetralization for the OXO.
After that you have to calculate the cost of the NEW OXE plus the cetralization of the OXO

Search the alcatel-lucent portal for ip centralization there is a TC for that.

the centralization can only be done between two same systems , like OXO to OXO and OXE to OXE.
Is there any other way?

centralization can be done on existing OXE not OXO. so not possible btw OXO-OXO but you can prepare to have the OXO to be part of an OXE by replacing the cpu with media gateway and have the user licence of the OXO.
