Mute an extension with CSTA

Post by Turlupin »

Hi guys !

In my Company, we've got an application with TSAPI Server and CallManager.
One of the guy who's developing this application, need to mute (with the application) one of the extension during a call.

Does anyone know if it's possible to do this kind of stuff with CSTA ?

Thank you

Turlupin.
Sorry for my english .... :)

Mute? What is mute? Hold?
If you mean deactivating the microphone from the headset I think no.

Hi there, CSTA allows for muting according to ECMA 269 section 21.1.20, "Set Microphone Mute".
http://www.ecma-international.org/publi ... MA-269.pdf

But if this is implemented by OXE is a different matter, just give it a whack and see what happens

ECMA 269 is Phase III. Oxe is still Phase II and Oxo I.
