CSTA monitoring on Oxo R8.2.0

Post by quinot »

Hi,

I am trying to do simple CSTA monitoring of extensions of an Oxo R8.2.0.
Starting with pythoncsta source code, I went so far as to submitting monitoring requests, and getting them consistently rejected:

Invoke:
invokeid=2
opcode=71
args=ArgumentSeq:
CSTAObject:
device=DeviceID:
dialingNumber=654

retuning:

Choice:
returnError=ReturnError:
invokeid=2
errcode=1
errparam=UniversalFailure:
systemResourceErrors=overallMonitorLimitExceeded(7)

System Limits > CTI > CSTA shows:

Serveur TAPI 2.0: monitoring 50 / sessions 25
Central Services 208/4
Busy Lamp Field 1/1
PIMphony Unified 75/1
Application partenaire supervision 250/1

Other lines (in particular "Client CSTA" and "Serveur CSTA") show no license.

Do I need to purchase specific licenses? Or am I just missing some specific setup in the CSTA session?

Also, does anyone have the specification for the BLF-related CSTA messages? These seem to be Alcatel proprietary extensions.

Thanks!
Thomas.

You need to buy CSTA licences.

For your information, from OXO R8.0, you have a specific licence called Application Interface Open Pack, which allow you to use CSTA + TAPI + BLF.
The reference is 3EH03328AA

Good luck!
