Upgrade OV8770 R2.5.04 to R3.0.13

OS: windows server 2012 R2
I ran the setup as administrator

Does anyone know what could be the reason?

When you say you ran as admin... did you use a domain admin account or the original local machine admin account? Domain admin accounts have caused me many problems with OV8770

Have you tried stopping that DB service yourself manually before you run the setup?

The DB stopped when i ran the setup. Now I can't start the service even restarting the system.

hmmm not sure why that has broken in that case. Sometimes it's just easier to follow a migration process using the migration tool and then Install R3 fresh and import the migrated data.

I have a snapshot of the vm. I solved updating R2.5 to R2.6 and then R2.6 to R3.2
