De-allocate an extension number

Post by Sysadmin2317 »

Hi,

We have one problem phone (Alcatel 4028) which we cannot log out off. Normally we would hit *79 to log out so we can swap extensions.

Currently when we hit *79 and enter the secret code, I get "feature rejected".

Is there a way I can do this in the 8770 console?

Thanks,

Check if his phone category allows him to do that.
Also, your PBX is not 8770, that is just the management system.
You maybe have an OXE or OXO

Quite a radical solution.
OP seems just want to log out from a hunting group or from an ACD group.
To Sysadmin2317: From where you want to log off that user?
