8770 R2 - High CPU usage mysqld.exe

Hi guys - has anyone had and maybe resolved an issue with high (up to 99%) cpu usage on 8770 R2.6.07.06 of the mysqld.exe (MySQL8770 service) process? This 8770 has been installed for quite some time and only recently has this issue popped up. I don't know if this was caused by a recent Windows update.
8770 is running on VMware Esxi 5.5 and OS is Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard, 4GB RAM
