Which physical port when in VC configuration with more than 2 physical chassis

Hi all,

When in VC configuration with more than 2 physical chassis, how do we know which physical port we will use (plug in) since at OS6900 do not have LED number display? the design is 4 physical chassis in single VC.

Second question, in a single VC configuration with more than 2 physical chassis, should we use the same VFL cable model or can we use 10G and 40G cables simultaneously ?

You have to know your switches
You can check direct at the serial of the chassis the chassis id with "show virtual chassis topology" or "show running directory".
Or if you have only remote access you do connect/disconnect one link - and check the "show interface status" up/down.

Within one VFL it is the same like within an LAG: all the same speed.
