Dear Mates,
this is my first virtualized OXE... sorry 'bout that - hoping, this is the appropriate area within this forum -
i'm about to convert one R 9.1 from ACT to Virtualized CS... anything is fine, but even our Distibutor ain't got a single idea of what we're doing here.... the flexlm is not interested @ all 'bout the licences i'd offer... somebody asked me for the .lic - file.... another one is only talking about some .ics - file... could i please get a hint?

You will need to have a licence server virtulised, you will need to have a dongle that attaches to the virtual server and then point the OXE to the licence server

OK, sorry for that...
i got the call server and the flex lm up and running within the customers esx. i also recieved the .ics file - based on the dongle id and transferred that file into the data/license folder. i've restarted the service and reviewed the logfiles, but all i get is ... see attachment

new installed - OK .... that took me 10 minutes...
