Difference between OTBE and OMTS and OTMS-V

Hi guys,

Sorry for this question but I'm confused with these different terms.

I have 1 client with a server with opentouch on wich there is 8770 and OXE virtualised by Alcatel (with commannds virsh) what's the name of this solution ? OTBE ?

Now I upgrade this solution with ESXi (Release 2.1 of OTBE or OTMS) on wich I put a Flexlm External Server with OXE, 8770, OpenTouch. But for this one I'm confused with 2 terms (OTES-V and OTMS-V) What's the aim of OTMS-V and OTES-V ? I was thinking do this:

- Flexlm server: vmFlex-2.1.000.090.iso
- RedHat: bootdvd.6.4.011.004.x86_64.iso
- OpenTouch: ot-2.1.000.093.iso
- OXE: Release 11
- 8770: 8770-2.6.05.01.f-b0002.zip

I don't see in what cases I need OTES-V and OTMS-V

hi, OTMS-v is a software version of the GD found in the physical hardware. it is used for software only solution if you are running say only IPPhones and SIP trunks. in that case you don't need physical media gateway.
OTES-V is edge server. mainly used if you want external connection to the conference services.

Before, my client had MyIC Communicator for PC just for organize conference but now he want to manage his conference with Outlook, what solution can he use ? Do I need OTES-V ?

to manage conference from outlook you will need the plugin. no edge server required for that unless he is trying to manage conferences from off site.
