Open Touch SSH/SFTP/Weblogin locked

Hi Friends,

I have OTBE server running 2.1.

recently we done some addon in the license file and got the new license to upload in OT server.

But, the problem is i am unable to do SFTP to OT server. it gives me below error on filezilla

Status: Connecting to 172.16.21.55...
Response: fzSftp started, protocol_version=5
Command: open "root@172.16.21.55" 22
Command: Pass: **********
Error: Server unexpectedly closed network connection
Error: Could not connect to server

And even i am unable to login SSH with root account also and gives me FATAL ERROR "SERVER UNEXPECTEDLY CLOSED NETWORK CONNECTION".


the good thing is only i can able to login to server by connecting keyboard and monitor with it. and able to login as root.

i changed root password, otAdmin password, otAdmin password. but nothing works...!!!

could anyone know how to solve this and unlock procedure for the SSH/SFTP for OT server?

please help me if can...

hi, it is normal not to login as root (security default). depending on install try logging in as iceuser or otuser then you can su to root. sftp with that account will allow you to upload new licences anyway but you will need root to restart.
you can enable root access directly just google allow root access linux and lots of results but for security best to leave off.

i understand about SSH login now.

but, SFTP is still denied for root. am unable to update the OT license file

Copy with otUser to tmp using sftp
Go to console and copy this file with root to correct location
