I'm trying to use ssh dsa key of 2048 bits.
It seems that it's impossible.
Does someone could confirm that ?

DSA SSH key size
Re: DSA SSH key size
In the switch management guide I have found this info:
"AOS shall support both DSA 1024 and RSA 2048 public key algorithms for SSH in enhanced mode."
There you also find the info for the enhanced mode. Hope this will helpfull for you.

Silvio

Re: DSA SSH key size
Hello Silvio and thanks for your answer.
I didnt find anything about enhanced mode and rsa key in the "OmniSwitch 6250/6450 Switch Management Guide June 2013".
May be it's an option with recent firmware.
Actually the firmware is :
OmniSwitch 6450
KFbase.img 6.6.5.63.R02
KFos.img 6.6.5.63.R02
KFeni.img 6.6.5.63.R02
KFsecu.img 6.6.5.63.R02
KFdiag.img 6.6.4.288.R01
OmniSwitch 6250
KFbase.img 6.6.3.451.R01
KFos.img 6.6.3.451.R01
KFeni.img 6.6.3.451.R01
KFsecu.img 6.6.3.451.R01
It seems that the 6.7.2 R03 version support RSA 2048 public key
I cant find the way to upgrade them.
Thanks again for your answer

Re: DSA SSH key size
Yes, this feature was introduced 3...4 years ago.
You will not find the software in public internet. The deliverer of your switches should have access to the firmware... or any other business partner of alcatel-lucent.
