OTCV and Firewalls

Post by luca_buratti »

Good Afternoon to everyone

I've installed OTCV on my smartphone and made it work inside my lan with a local ip

What I want to do now is to use it outside of my Factory

This is the real scope of all this thing, use my mobile phone when I am outside stayng always in touch with my colleguaes inside.

So the question is what are the configurations to do on the Firewall to link My Phone and My OXO?

I need stun ?? and if yes how to do that?

I see that the first attempt from the phone to the Oxo is through 443 Tcp Port but I see no answer

I must modify something on my OXO or not?

Which are the other ports to use?

I need reverse proxy or can I begin the tests without DMZ?

Thanks in advance

Luca.

Hi,

You must configure a port forwarding in your firewall too access from outside the company.

In the OXO you have to configure the port you are going to use to access from outside, there is a label that you have to change.
Look for the documentation of OTCV in Business portal, there is a step-by-step really clear.

You dont need stun nor reverse proxy.
