OTBE Licenses question

Post by sadim »

hi,
I will make an OTBE migration and in order to secure the migration, I will use the following process:
1. install OTBE on one additional server, and put on it the customer data
2. take out the customer server and connect the additional server
3. make in offline mode, the migration of the customer server
4. switch the servers

My doubt is regarding the licenses. Since the licenses are not for the additional server, I do not know how many days I can leave the additional server running without issues. I check the documentation, and for Windows it should be ok for 30 days, 32 days for 8770 and 30 days for OXE. But, regarding OT, I can not find any info. Does someone knows how many days can the OTBE solution work before entering in degraded mode

Best Regards

Hello,

as allready said in this thread, there is no grace period for OT when licenses are not correct.
Info on upgrading procedures for OTBEs till version 2.2 can be found in TC2206.
