OTMS upgrade from 2.0.1 to 2.2

We have a three-year support (software) contract with Alcatel partner.They recommend to upgrade the current version of the OTMS 2.0.1 to 2.2, claims we must replace the existing hardware: 16 2Ghz CPUs, 20GB RAM, 500GB disk... how do I check if they were right or not.

Hello,

I assume it is an installation on this server directly (so no virtualization)?
What server model do you have?

Have you increased your user base? Or same amount of services and users?
