Hi,
I have multicast stream connected to OS6450 and the OS6450 further connected with OS6860
From OS6860 uplinks going to D-Link switch
I have enabled multicast on both the switches 6860 & 6450 but in D-Link switch they not able to see the stream
Or should I need to querying option to be enabled in both server farm & 6860
Kindly advice

Multi cast between 6860 & D-Link
Re: Multi cast between 6860 & D-Link
like written in a lot other posts (it is the same behavior for all the omniswitches):
Enable multicast and querier-forwarding at all devices.
You need at least one switch with an ip interface within the vlan - this is you querier (so enable querier).
best regards
Silvio

Re: Multi cast between 6860 & D-Link
Hi Silvio,
I facing the traffic issue when there where more than two streams are connected to the switch
We can do it anything from Omni switch side for this issue or better to contact D-Link ?

you can use the following show commands to analyze:
show ip multicast ?
group you see the mc-addresses (and ports) where clients try to join to the mc-stream (via IGMP)
source your incomming mc-stream
forward successfull stream between source and clients
