New handsets for OmniPCX Enterprise system?

Hi,

We have a Omni PCX enterprise phone system with "DELIVERY j2.501" ACD VERSION: Release 8. Our manager used to run this system and has left so we are now responsible for it, and we don't know alot about it.

We have lots of very very old cordless alcatel dect handsets, many are simply beyond repair. We would like to replace them however the alcatel handsets are so expensive? Since DECT is a standard, does this mean you can use any Dect handset? Can anyone suggest a cordless DECT we could use? Maybe a Siemens Gigaset DECT? Open to suggestions assuming this is even possible?

For non-Alcatel DECT sets - my opinion:
- YOU NEED TO TRY! Usually seller can give you some sets for testing.
- we very often use Siemens Gigaset DECT. Different models (sets must support GAP)

But in any case - you can have problem. From practice - we test one model (Siemens Gigaset, not remember exactly), after test - order 150 pcs. But when we start installation - we find that many sets were with same PARI (just 4 PARI for 150 sets). Siemens support help us (reprogram all sets).
