Alcatel Connectivity with Juniper Switch

Dear Experts
Currently i am stuck in a issue...please help me out.
I want to communicate Alcatel lucent core switch with Juniper core switch at Layer 3. Alcatel switch is learning the MAC address of Juniper interfaces but unfortunately Juniper is unable to communicate at layer 2 also. Unable to ping the L3 interface.
Please guide me what shall i configure at Juniper side so that both switches can communicate with each other.
Alcatel is configured in Virtual chassis while Juniper switches are configured in VRRP.
