I cannot open OmniVista 2500 v4.1.2.R03GA in Fedora Linux

Good afternoon,

This is my first post in this awesome Alcatel products forum. I just have a little problem. I cannot open OmniVista using OpenJDK or Java SE8 in my Fedora 27 Linux.

I join into Alcatel OmniVista Web page, download Java file over Alcatel Web interface (Topology). I open file, just wait to approved run Java untrusted app, so, a windows is open likes in Windows 7 of OmniVista, but stuck here.

I've tried with OpenJDK8 and JavaSE8 but, It does not work.

Somebody can help me?

your OV is only released for Red Hat Linux 6.5, 7.0 SUSE Linux 11, 12.
But why didn't you use the actuall release? Yours is very old .... (nearly two years).

Hello silvio,
Thanks take your time to reply. It's is not problem, I can setup Java for RHEL in directory separatedly and perform script to load libraries requires for it (LD_LIBRARY_PATH).

I cannot upgrade version, because no depend on me. So, I have to work maybe with Windows, or looking for Java version for RHEL in these years, maybe like 6.0. I'll testing.
