Login Authentication Servers

Hi,

I´d like to connect our OmniVista with an NPS for Login authentication.
I can make it so that i can login using an NPS/Radius User, but i always land in the default group, which is read only.

What i am tryining to do is configure the NPS, so that if i login using my AD Account, i automatically get placed in the right group.
Also i`d like it, so if i move an AD - User to the f.ex. "OV-Admin" - Group, that User should get admin rights in OV.

Hi,
your NPS has to answer with a vendor specific option (withen the group name)

- Vendor Code : 800
configure attribute - yes
- Vendor-assigned attribute number : 20 <Alcatel-Nms-Group>
- Attribute format : String
- Attribute value: your wished OV-UserGroup f.e. Administrators

that was exactly what i was looking for.

Is there any documentation sheet to look this up?
I couldnt find these informations in the OV guide nor in my ebook for OV-NMS

not sure...maybe you will find this in the switch management guide (sw-guide). Or in knowledge base in business portal.
