According to OP he is not using a GW, he just plugged the Avaya sip phone to the OXE. So, for me, that is the behavior at the sip end point from Avaya.

I am just curious about this.

mdhussainvlr, let me see if I understand your case. When you call from an extension of OXE to a SIP extension (Avaya set registered on OXE), Avaya set does not show the name of who is calling, right?
If I understood right, I ran a test with a lab system I have with one KS 4039 and one SEPLOS. Release is R11.0.1. For SEPLOS, I used a simple softphone. When the softphone rings, it shows name and number from who is calling.
Checking the traces out, I can see when OXE sends the INVITE to the softphone, it sends the name on the FROM field:

From: "ENIO ADM" <sip:55000000@172.21.0.11;user=phone>;tag=8cefef150b885cdd19fac236a2b4546f

OXE does not send P-Asserted in this case.

From your trace, I can see the INVITE is sent with the name on the FROM field:

From: "Abdullah" <sip:3502@192.168.30.254;user=phone>;tag=7a0a5e4a013dbfa2eca0e1decdcb0620

So, I understand there is nothing to do on OXE side. In my opinion you need to verify Avaya set configurations to see if it can read the name from the FROM field.

Other thing. Probably this is not a set certified by Alcatel. In this case there might be some funtions that will not work.
