I apologoize in advance for my little english. I would a question for SBC. Selling this Alcatel-Lucent ? Is it hardware and software or only software ? I searched it on internet, but I did not find.

no SBC are provided by ALcatel-Lucent for the time being.
An Alcatel-Lucent recommended SBC to be used with OXE is the Neotip one :

Since beginning of August 2009, SBC NeoGate product (from Comverse company) is integrated into Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise product catalog. It is also integrated as an item into ACTIS quotation tool (since v13.6) so you can configure an SBC while configuring your OXE.

For people interested in, just for history :
neotip was a company intergrated to netcentrex company in early 2007.
in the end of 2007, Comverse bough Netcentrex.
Neotip changed to NeoGate.

So it is same product at the end

I know : Ip Boards , for example a GD Board is a Session Border Controller.No need for an aditional Hardware...

GD, GA, INTIP are NOT a SBC of anykind..

hmm so is this the reason for that i cant register my SIP xlite soft phone to oxe in the office over internet ? because i dont have a session border controller? How ? Alcatels educator told us that GD is the Session Border Controller...

Can anyone provide me a document for SBC registration to SIP Trunk using NeoGate SBC. I'm having an OXE integrated with Neogate and from there it goes to the main service provider SBC. They require trunks to be registered. I have been trying a lot and been unsuccessfull..


Can anyone suggest some solution.
