Omniaccess 4302 with AP61's

Post by Bazo »

Hello everyone,

Can anyone help me with a issue a have?

I have installed a Omniaccess 4302 with AP61's and got them working on site.
The 4302 is on the main site and I have 2 AP's on remote sites via a VPN using draytek routers.
I have plugged the AP's in the remote site (which I can ping) but the 4302 isn't seeing them.

Can anyone help???

Regards
Barry

Hi Barry. Force the IP or name of OA in AP configuration. I mean that perhaps the way the AP try to locate the OA is filtered by the router/VPN. Check in you AP group, there you will find two box to complete the IP or name of OA. One is for firmware/config files the other for the licenses. If you have only one OA, then complete the box with same IP or name. I hope you could understand me. Regards.

hello

You can have problem with size of packet.
VPN + GRE tunnel can be larger than mtu on your wan.

change packet size in OA could help too or on VPN switch, configure it tochange DF bit of incoming AP packet to permit fragmentation.
