7750 SAVE IN GNS3

Post by mariosulcaj »

Hello to all members,

Please can someone tell me if there is a possible way to save a configuration on an alcatel 7750 running on a gns3? I have to say that the timos has NO license so it boots every 60 minutes.

Thanks in advance

\admin save should do the trick.

I do expect you to run the 7750 VM in GNS3-VM.
I had issues saving config previously when using windows qemu engine.

admin save works all the time in my GNS3 environment.

Do you see any error messages when running admin save?
Is the configuration actually stored in CF3?

\file type cf3:/config.cfg

Ensure you question the correct file.

When booting, what info do you get from console output when it reads your config file?

From my SR:
Executed 264 lines in 0.2 seconds from file cf3:\config.cfg

Code: Select all

A:SR01# \file type cf3:/config.cfg
File: config.cfg

exit all
configure

echo "System Configuration"

        time

Code: Select all

A:SR01# admin save
Writing configuration to cf3:\config.cfg
Saving configuration ... OK
Completed.
