Have you created user named test?
Do "show user" and see if user named test has snmp enabled.

Hi,
also you need for v2 the following:

Code: Select all

user test password not-important read-only all no auth
aaa authentication snmp local
And have you created within OV the community default and associated this snmp-setup to your ip-ranges (or direct to device)?

Please post "show user".
And try to use an other community than "default". Maybe this isn't a good idea.
Also I prefer to use snmpv3 - it is more easier to configure. In my cases it works always without any issues.
