IP Desktop Softphone crashing on Win10 VM

as soon a the softphone is getting a call and the sound rings, the application crashes.

These 2 Errors are in the Eventlog:

Was there a resolution to this issue? I am experiencing the same audiodevicesdetection.dll error, but in my case the Softphone crashes before it ever communicates with the PBX, it doesn't get past the splash screen. This was the case on 11.5.11, and it is also the case on 11.5.2. I have updated to .net framework 4.8 in the hope that it helped, but sadly it doesn't.
