Cannot display Free Desktop on 4068 set
Yesterday I installed Free Desktop on a Windows 2003 SP1 server. According to the usual post installation checks the installation is correctly made. I added the OTUC server under XMLAPI connections and could see both of my PCX nodes in there. I wanted to have the "Free Desktop" appear on a key on the IP Touch 4068 sets, so I created the application in the presentation server of my OTUC server in this way - I named it FDEI and pointed it to http://135.222.8.72:8080/FreeDesktop/IP ... n/Register - I then restarted the presentation server service.
I then went to the PCX and under 8 & 9 series parameters I created the application as FDEI and Free Desktop. In class of service 0 (all phones are in this COS) I gave Free Desktop priority 14, which was the next available priority. My Phone and My Assistant are priority 12 and 13. However, Free Desktop does not appear in the display.
I do not understand how the keys are numbered. On the phone set My Phone is actually on key 9 and My Assistant on key 10. Surely the priority equals the key number ? I read in the documentation that Free Desktop should be alias 15 ? Does anyone know what that means ? Should it be priority 15 ?

Sorry, I meant to post that. I checked appview -s and I am connected to the presentation server. Here is the result of appview -l :-

Ok, it is clear that the application is not starting correctly. Can you open a browser and post the URL you configured in PRS and see if it returns a valid XML file? if it returns XML check your appserver logs and if it doesn't return the XML then check what is wrong with your webserver.

Re: Cannot display Free Desktop on 4068 set
OK, this was a stupid mistake, but the URL was wrong. It should be http://135.222.8.72:8080/IPTouchInterface/Register
I had "integration" instead of "interface"

Actually no, when I checked the presentation server, I had entered it correctly, but when I entered the URL in my browser I put integration instead of interface. Now I get the XML page, but a guy from Pro Services tells me that port 2570 has to be open, so I will check that out.

Can you post a screenshot on how you have configured the application link and options on WebAdmin?
