Escaping telnet

Post by trjm »

Hi

When logged on to a OXE over telnet, I try to escape to the telnet command prompt by pressing ^]. However, I can not get it to work.
Do any of you use this? Does it work for you?

It's Windows and i think you have a different keyboard layout then US, right?

On german keyboards the ] is on the 9 key - so it's not possible to press ^] without alt gr key.

I allow windows to quickly jump between different keyboard layouts with alt-shift hotkey to US layout. You simply have to locate the ] on your local layout and press this key with ctrl, after switching to US and then switch back to your local setting.

Hope, you understand me - was a hard monday today...
