problem with videoconference

Post by resorte »

Hi all,

I have a problem with the videconference peer to peer, I can establish the session and get audio, video and IM, without problem, everything seems ok, but after about 5 minutes the video gone, the screen disappears and only stay audio and IM, not show me error. In the SIP Log I see nothing unusual.

Someone has a problem like this? there is another way to get more logs? both clients are low-quality video and the ACS version is 8.1.0b5248.

Thanks! :)

Is it about 5 minutes or exactly 5 minutes? If exactly then it looks like session timer expiry.
Anyway there is a new 8.1.0b5386 version with some P2P video bugs fixed. Try it.

Check traces on MyTW server or run wireshark trace on one of the PCs.

Is peer to peer video conference a licensed or free feature? I was told it's free, only multiparty is licensed. Can someone verify please?

the users that need video are licensed always. if you use p2p then no need for MCU, but if not then you need an MCU, the fact that if you decide to use a MCU is not licensed.
