4018 used as SIP extension

Post by agiftel »

Hi, does someone used 4018 as SIP Extension? I am having some test using OXE and asterisk as SIP Server. In both scenario a get same issue: MWI does not work at all. I tested same call scneario ( and settings ) using x-lite and wmi works perfectly ( voice mail and unanswered calls ).
Any idea???
btw I am using last NOE_SIP binary.
Thanks

Only if you have a 4018 EE set it can go in SIP. But only when you have programmed your IP domain with SIP survivability and the connection between your ip phone and the cs is lost.

How do you know if a phone is 4018EE?

I have some 40x8 EE phones that I would like to test in SIP mode with Asterisk but I am finding little configuration examples. I have been able to set the phone to SIP mode but it repeatedly resets while I am trying to configure it. Then it began asking for a password when I tried to enter the configuration. I can set it back to NOE from industrial mode at least.

Would anyone have some examples of their configuration including the config file on the PBX? I have the binaries. Thank you.
