PCS jumpers

dear colleagues,

as i've been searching the documentations for hours, i can't find any information, how to set the jumpers to enable the PCS in Slot 8... i can only get it working in slot 0

It is a CPU so there are no jumpers, what doesn't work about it?

well,

it stays completely off in this slot... "no red LED"... while it does it's job without problems in slot 0... got this now for the second time... what about the dip-switches beside the HD???

Do you have a GD card in Slot 0???as this will control the power for you!

yes we do (up and running) ... but the pcs stays down.

all it does is SLANX flashing onde unit1-uplink and ond HD-LED-Flash...

Thats ok, you dont need the power light, what happens when you plug into the CS on the console port? What messages are you getting
