SNGREP - Minimun version of OXE

Hi,
I would like to know the minimum version of OXE to run SNGREP.
When I run it in OXE 11.2.2 I get this message:


[root@cs-01 tmpd]# cd /tmpd
[root@cs-01 tmpd]# chown root.root ./sngrep ; chmod 755 ./sngrep
[root@cs-01 tmpd]# ./sngrep
FATAL: kernel too old
Segmentation fault

Hi,

I did not try sngrep on release 11
I would say release 12 is when ALE switched to CentOS 6 32 bits which is what I used to compile it.

Thanks for the reponse.

We run the procedure on rel 12.1 and sngrep work fine.

Just a comment, when run the uncompress command this was the reponse, I don't know if mean some error or if it's normal:

[root@server-tel2 tmpd]# tar -zxvf ./sngrep.tar.gz
._sngrep

Hi,
This is because I created the archive on macOS.
I did a new one from linux. if you download the latest one, you should not have the error.
Both are the same version, just different archives.
