4635 IMAP, not updating Inbox
Hi all, I have a 4635, r5.3 with IMAP loaded on it. However the Outlook Inbox only refreshes when manually closing/opening the app. If we receive a vm it will not alert on the users inbox???
It is clear running Wireshark that the manual opening causes a sync with the Inbox and download of new messages (timestamped), however this is not so otherwise, even when a manual Send/Receive is tried, it does not sync.
Have tried my laptop directly on the VM card to avoid customer Lan issues, and problem still occurred, using Outlook 2003 sp2.
Anyone ?

I have the same problem with my messaging
I have OXE release 9.0, 4635 with release 5.4 and a CS dedicated to IMAP, If we receive a vm it will not alert on the users inbox??? , but when I restar the vimap service in the CS, in the mail account appear the new mail, 5 or 10 minutes after that i doesn't work anymore.
If our user want to receive other voice mail we have to restar the IMAP service.

What patch of OXE ?Cos there is a known issue with IMAP update.

i have same problem , my release is 8.0.1 static is i think 11 . i have to restart my outlook for get new messages. i will patch to 24 for test to solve this problem

Can you try to execute IMAP commands manually (telnet) and see what does the IMAP server returns?

Yup, seems a configuration error in the IMAP server...see if there is any correction of this issue in the release notes of that patch

If you are using telnet from you PC, that is what usually happens. Try to telneton port 143 from PCX, or telnet to IMAP server on port 23, then telnet to port 143.
