Can I telnet IP Phone

document says yes. I modified the lanpbx.cfg file with my cs IP address but I still cannot telnet set. On a webex session once with engineer I saw them go into set via telnet but it was long ago.

Any ideas?

Yes you can. I did it already. Try to use a cross cable direct in the IP Phone.

Hello:

You have to go to ippstat command menu: Timeout for telnet session of IP Touch set
and follow the instructions, also do the telnet from the CS.

The command is:

ippstat telnet d XXX t 1440

t for timeout in Minutes. After a reset of the set, you have to repeat this command before connecting via telnet on the set.

If you don´t know the current IP Address of the set (set is dynamic by DHCP), you can show the IP Address with the command:

ippstat d XXX

The command is:

ippstat telnet d XXX t 1440
