ACCESS CATEGORY
This table makes it possible to program the external access COS according to the different system statuses (night, day, etc.) defined in the ENTITY object.
The public network access COS define the authorizations and prohibitions (barring) of the incoming and outgoing public network access.
Public Network Category
Up to 32 COS can be managed (0 to 31).
Public Access Rights
Each attribute can take the values 0 for NO, 1 for YES and % for indifferent. The same goes for each defined COS.
For each system status (night, day, status 1, status 2) the following parameters have to be set.
Ext.Access On Attend.Transfer
YES: authorizes the outgoing or incoming network transfer made by the attendant.
Ext.Access On Set Transfer
YES: authorizes the outgoing or incoming network transfer made by a set.
Incoming DDI/Tie Line
YES: authorizes the incoming DID or Tie Line on the set.
NO: provokes the overflow on the routing directory number (e.g. Attendant) of all incoming DID or Tie Line on the set.
SIO overflow
The SIO trunk group is a France Telecom service offering the use of outgoing lines at a preferential tariff for a fixed price. It functions only for long-distance calls. There is only one SIO trunk group per system.
YES: in the case of saturation of SIO trunk group, outgoing calls are switched to another trunk group,
NO: in case of call saturation, the calls are put on hold (Automatic Recall on busy trunk group).
One SIO trunk group per system is possible.
Incom.NDDI hold on busy set
YES: calls to busy sets are camped on.
For further details see the following sections: "NDID overflow on total busy", "NDID overflow on waiting".

Tie Line Overf.On Total Busy
Specific to Brazil
An 'authorized dde charging' call is a Public call paid for by the called party and not the public caller.
This attribute enables this service to be authorized or prohibited to users (if the Authorized charging attribute is set at YES in TRUNK GROUP).
In fact, the PABX is incapable of knowing whether the call is an authorized dde charging call or not. In case of prohibition from this service, the following happens: for each call, whatever it`s type, the PABX transmits a signal asking the public attendant to release the line if the call taking place is an authorized dde charging call.YES: dde charge calls are authorized for the user.
NO: dde charging is refused, the release procedure is always carried out for dde pulse metering type calls.
Collect Call (PNC)
Specific to Brazil
An 'authorized dde charging' call is a Public call paid for by the called party (from the PABX) and not the public caller.
This attribute enables this service to be authorized or prohibited to users.
In fact, the PABX is incapable of knowing whether the call is an authorized dde charging call or not. In case of prohibition from this service, the following happens: for each call, whatever it`s type, the PABX transmits a signal asking the public attendant to release the line if the call taking place is an authorized dde charging call.
YES: dde charge calls are authorized for the user. This right depends on the 'authorized dde charging' attribute in PUBLIC NETWORK COS.
NO: dde charging is refused, the release procedure is always carried out for dde charging type calls.
Toll Free Call (PNC)
This feature is linked to the DID R2 trunk signalling Group B.This enables the transmission of an MF R2 special frequency informing the public attendant that the caller is not to be charged.
YES: The frequency corresponding to this feature is sent (see TRUNK COS - Non-chargeable DID calls).
NO: this feature is prohibited.
Malicious Call Control (PNC)
This feature is linked to the DID R2 trunk signalling Group B.This enables the transmission of an MF R2 special frequency informing the public attendant that the call taking place must not be released by him but by the called party (from the PABX). If the case arises, this feature enables the called party to ask the public attendant for the origin of the call taking place (malicious call monitoring). This feature is used in specific cases (fire, police etc...), and upon asking the public administration.
DDI PCM Answer Signal Delayed
For AUDIOTEL requirements in Italy.
YES: delays the response signal on the DID PCM for a duration corresponding to timer 245 (T_ANSWER_DELAY).
(This is used in order not to charge the subscriber during the AUDIOTEL announcement message).
Called Cat.- Auto.Att.
Each COS of called party rights (0 to 31) contains the call authorizations related to automatic attendant.
ARS privilege
The ARS privilege level (0 to 31) is used when a call is rerouted and is compared to a cost threshold. If the cost threshold is equal or superior to the privilege, the call is rejected (SEE TRANSLATOR -ARS TABLE).
VPN Cost Limit
The following are possible values:
1 to 254: cost threshold value
-1: VPN overflow prohibited for all arteries even if the mandatory VPN hop attribute (find this attribute in INTER-NODES LINKS-VPN OVERFLOW) is set at YES.
0: . Overflow prohibited except on arteries where the attribute mandatory VPN hop (find this attribute in INTER-NODES LINKS-VPN OVERFLOW) is set at YES.
Maximum value: VPN overflow allowed for all calls.
The VPN cost threshold is used during an ABC-F call in VPN overflow so that it can be compared with VPN hop costs (see INTER-NODES LINKS-VPN OVERFLOW - VPN Hop cost) according to the different system states (night, day ...).
If the caller`s cost threshold is lower than the additional VPN hop costs the call is rejected.
(Cost thresholds compared with VPN hop costs are also in EXTERNAL COS for users and in TRUNK for incoming external calls).
