This table makes it possible to manage the main parameters of accounting

FILE COMPRESSION
Instance (reserved)
Internal Accounting
YES: the application of internal accounting is activated. It gives access to basic services (statements storage, tickets printed out in real-time, control of the user by attendant).

Monitoring
YES: the attendant can visualize or print accounting tickets of one or several subscribers in function of a cost threshold (users Tracking).

Financial Report
YES: printing a financial report is authorized. The financial report gives the cost sharing (see FINANCIAL REPORT).

Tickets Storage
YES: accounting information are stored for a further processing, or further printing of accounting tickets.
Put this attribute on YES to use the Financial report, or Hotel application (Ex.: Night audit, Itemized billing ...)

Files for External Accounting
YES: the system makes it possible to transmit statements to the external application.
Put this attribute on YES to use the External Accounting Application.

Real Time Tickets Output
YES: accounting tickets are printed as calls are made, via V24 or Ethernet

Company Billing Rating
The Billing Rating allows to adjust the price of a call unit by step, in function of number of pulses used by the hotel user (hotel, hospital, etc...).


VAT (In %)
VAT: if this tax is managed (e.g.: 20.6%), the VAT total amount is printed on the hotel/hospital invoice.
Nb Of Digits In Decimal Part
In the price, number of digits after the point.
Currency
Symbol for invoicing currency
Common Storage Parameters
The following parameters are used for storage of statements.


Tickets lost before alarm (by 100)
Number of tickets lost (disk saturation) which causes an incident.
Unit is hundred.
PIN (Personal Ident.No.)
This attribute can be used to indicate the PIN number on the tickets.
By default it is masked to ensure confidentiality.
Nb of Last Masked Called Digits
Number of digits masked on the telephone number transmitted from the last position of dialling format (see also the Dialling format attribute).











Data Base Storage Parameters
The following attributes apply to ticket storage in the data base:


% Before 1st Alarm
Level of disk filling for the start of level 1 alarm.
% Before 2nd Alarm
Level of disk filling for the start of level 2 alarm.

Filter
The following choices make it possible to filter the calls to be stored on a hard disk depending on their type (public, local, private calls, ABC-F network, data, etc.).

NOTE :
Local call = user and trunk are on the same node in the ABC-F network
Network call = user and trunk are not on the same node in the ABC-F network

The following attributes apply to storage for external accounting.


Filter
The following choices make it possible to filter the calls to be stored on a hard disk depending on their type (public, local, private calls, ABC-F network, data, etc.).

NOTE :
Local call = user and trunk are on the same node in the ABC-F network
Network call = user and trunk are not on the same node in the ABC-F network
Printout Buffer Parameters
The following attributes apply to the buffer printout.


% Before 2nd Alarm
Level of buffer filling causing level 2 alarm to start.

The following parameters are applied to real-time printout


Printing format
Desired format for editing the statements as they go along, reduced or extended
  • Extended: table with 2 lines of 80 characters
  • Reduced: table with 1 line of 80 characters with less space.

  • Displayed Value
    This attribute is used to choose the type of value to be printed (cost/tax).
    PIN (Personal Ident.No.)
    This attribute can be used to indicate the PIN number on the tickets.

    Line spacing
    Number of lines between 2 accounting tickets.

    Local Network Calls
    Number of digits masked on the telephone number transmitted from the last position of dialling format (see also Number of Last Masked Called Digits and the Dialling format attribute).
    Local Transit Calls
    Number of digits masked on the telephone number transmitted from the last position of dialling format (see also Number of Last Masked Called Digits and the Dialling format attribute).

    Number of lines per printed page (format A4 = 65 lines).
    Nb Of Digits In Decimal Part
    In the price, number of digits after the point.
    Business calls counter
    YES: counters per cost centers are present in the financial report.


    Area 1
    This attribute makes it possible to have the financial distribution of the additional costs by area for the financial report.
    5 financial areas

    One or several external translator areas are attributed to each of the financial report area attributes (see TRANSLATOR).
    (Example: area 1 which controls all dialling beginning with 16) for each user benefiting from statement:
    Area 1 of the financial report = External translator area 3 = area number 3 of the external translator is taken into account for area 1 of the financial report).
    Area 2
    This attribute makes it possible to have the financial distribution of the additional costs by area for the financial report.
    5 financial areas

    Dialling Format
    Dialling format is expressed in number of digits (e.g. current standard format of the French public network is 10 digits). This format is used as a reference during the use of last digit masking (see attributes Last Digits Masking entity, business, personal in various areas of this ACCOUNTING table).

    Phone set
    This attribute is used to choose the type of value to be printed (cost/tax).

    Front Office Computer Parameters
    The following parameters apply to hotel editing.


    Nb of Last Masked Called Digits
    Number of digits masked on the telephone number transmitted from the last position of dialling format (see also Number of Last Masked Called Digits and the Dialling format attribute)./ul>
    Filter
    Hotel/Hospital Billing Rating
    In general, for BOOTH and ROOM sets (see hotel), a sliding scale of charges is used in three steps: first tariff for the first call units, second tariff for the second call units, last tariff for the last call units.
    For ADMINISTRATION sets, the tariff is the basic call unit ("Price of the unit")


    Number Of 1st Units
    Number of units charged with the first tariff.
    2nd Units Price
    Prices applied to the second call units
    Number Of Second Units
    Number of units charges with the second tariff.
    Last Units Prices
    Price applied to the last call units.
