EXT.CALLBACK TRANSLATION RULES
Indicates to wich external callback table is associated this rule.
Basic Number
Enter an octet string of length 0 up to 8 within the following ranges: '0' to '9' 'A' to 'G' '*' '#' Basic Number This field will determine to which received numbers the rule applies. It can contain digits (for instance a zone indicator). In such case, all numbers received starting with this string of digits will be treated by this rule. But it can contain too the following values: A - The rule will apply to all international numbers. B - Concerns numbers with a ""private"" numbering plan. C - Treats numbers with an ""unknown"" numbering plan. This rule is active only if system option ""Type of number Unknown used"" (in External Signaling Parameters) is set to True. DEF - This rule treats all numbers not taken into account by another rule in the table. Exception: the ""G"" rule. G rule will convert a national number in an international number. It is used in multi country environment when the call is received in a country, with a ""national"" numbering plan and if the final user is located in a foreign country. This rule is applied on an already dialable number (usually after DEF rule), so, the two other parameters (""Nb. Digits To Be Removed"" and ""Digits To Add"") must take this into account. For instance, in France, a received number looks like this: 155123456. Its dialable form is 00155123456 (where the first ""0"" is the trunk seizure prefix). To convert this dialable number in an internation number (i.e 33155123456), it is necessary to remove 2 digits and to add the internation prefix ""33"". The G rule will look like this: Basic Number: G Nb. Digits To Be Removed: 2 Digits To Add: 33
Nb.Digits To Be Removed
This field allows, if necessary, to remove some digits at the begining of the number received from public network, to transform it as a dialable number.
Digits To Add
Enter an octet string of length 0 up to 8 within the following ranges: '0'to'9' 'A'to'D' '*' '#' 'T' Digits To Add This number corresponds to the prefixes to be added : - prefix for trunk group seizure (Example: 0). - inter-carrier or international prefix (Example for France: 0 or 00 respectively). The number of digits to add consist of up to 20 digits, and can be of values from 0 to 9 (and possibly *, #, A, B, C, D).
