R2 SIGNALLING TRANSLATOR
The R2 SIGNALING TRANSLATOR is used for the outgoing calls in certain countries (China, etc.) to define the signaling according to the call type and the release method according to the call number used.

Call Number
Call No. that the translator is applied to.

Type of Call
This attribute defines the call type according to which the group II signal will be sent on the outgoing R2 trunk according to the No. dialled by the PABX user:


Release Method
This attribute is used if the attribute Release method of the corresponding trunk type has been set to "according to R2 signaling table".
If the call is set up

Each time the called party or calling party goes on-hook, the Release control timer is started.

Release Control Timer
Timer after which the call is released in the 2 following cases:
1 - When the call is made, wait for the 1st reply by the called party: if the reply signal is not received before the end of this timer, the call is released.
2. - At the end of the call, after the called party has on-hooked, if the calling party does not on-hook: wait for possible reanswer by the called party before releasing the call.

The adjustment is made by number of units of 100 ms.
