PROXY
The proxy is used to locate and authenticate SIP users on the network.
Instance (reserved)
Initial timeout
This attribute specifies the initial value in milliseconds of the request/reply SIP message retransmission timeout.
The retransmission timeout doubles after each retransmission.
SIP timer A = timer E = timer G = Initial timeout; timer B = timer F = timer H = 64 x Initial timeout
timer T2
This attribute specifies the maximum time in milliseconds between two SIP message retransmissions.
DNS Timer overflow
Timer TLS
TLS keep alive timer
min:1sec max:30sec default:30s
Recursive search
This attribute is used to define the behavior of the proxy on reception of a redirection message.
YES: the proxy handles redirection.
NO: the proxy leaves the caller to handle redirection.
NOT CURRENTLY USED (Recursive search = NO)
Minimal authentication method
Type of authentication requested by the proxy:
- None: no authentication
- Basic: password in plain text (security level: low)
- Digest: DIGEST authentication with login (security level: medium)
- Pgp: encrypted password (security level: high) (future version)
Authentication realm
The realm defines the security domain on which the user identifies himself/herself.
Only authenticated incoming calls
YES : all unauthenticated incoming calls and incoming transfer requests are rejected.
Framework Period
Indicates the basic time for an observation period before to put the IP address in quarantine
Framework Nb Message By Period
Indicates the maximum number of received messages during the time of the observation periods which may put the IP address in quarantine.
Framework Quarantine Period
Indicates the periods number before to put the IP address in quarantine.
TCP when long messages
This parameter is used when UDP is used as transport
protocol, to allow or not the use of TCP for long messages.
This parameter applies to external gateways, SIP extensions,
SIP devices and SIP external voice mails.
True (default value): TCP is used, rather than UDP,
when the message size is higher than the maximum
size (MTU), e.g. 1300 bytes.
False: UDP is used, whatever the size of messages.
The SIP motor process has to be restarted after modifying this parameter.
Retransmission number for INVITE
The number of retransmission of SIP INVITE message
Degraded mode Time To Live
If set to 0, when OXE moves to “degraded” mode, the restart of sipmotor process is immediat.
Otherwise, when OXE moves to “degraded” mode, the restart of sipmotor process depends on the value of this timer (until 7200s/default:1800).
User Agent Identifier
This parameter allows management of string set by OXE as "User Agent" in SIP messages.
Default value is "OmniPCX Enterprise" followed by current release identification.
This parameter allows to add a prefix in front of "OmniPCX", or/and add a suffix behind release number,
or completely replace "OmniPCX Enterprise release number" with a dedicated string. Syntax is [string 1]%[string 2].
If % or empty field or only space appears in the parameter it is automatically replaced with default value .
