VIRTUAL ACCESS FOR IP

X25 synchronisation

YES : modifications of the object are allowed.

NO : modifications of the object are forbidden

Instance (reserved)
Number Of Accesses

Maximum number of accesses enabled for this trunk group. This field impacts the number of simultaneous communications the trunk group can support.

The value must be identical on the two nodes connected via the trunk group.

CAUTION : The number of accesses cannot be decreased. A virtual IP access cannot be deleted once it has been created.

Signalization link enable

Allows to put access(es) into service or out of service.

Select

"Yes" = to put access(es) into service

"No" = to put access(es) out of service

Default value = "No"

CAUTION : It is mandatory to deactivate the signaling link enable parameter (option set to "No") before adding supplementary access(es) or modifying any other parameter related to the trunk group access(es).

Remote role main CPU IP address

IP address of the remote node. This IP address depends on the remote node configuration.

Remote node with one single Com Server :

-> enter the physical IP address of the Com Server or its main IP address

Remote node with duplicated Com Servers on the same IP subnetwork :

-> enter the main IP address used for both Com Servers

Remote node with duplicated Com Servers on different IP subnetworks :

-> enter the main IP address of the Com Server declared in 'a' position in the remote node

Note : this case implies to fill the next attribute with second Com Server main address.

Remote role main CPU 2 IP address

If the remote node is a duplicated Com Server configuration with the two Com Servers on different IP subnetworks :

-> enter the main IP address of the Com Server declared in 'b' position in the remote node

Delay between 2 set-up attempts

Delay between two attemps to set up the trunk group in seconds.

Default value = 30

Window Size

The window is an orderly set of consecutive data frames authorized to be sent without acknowledgement.Increasing window size makes rate greater, but needs more memory buffer size.

Default value = 15

Retransmission delay

Waiting time for data frame acknowledgement before rebroadcast in milliseconds/seconds.

Default value = 1s (5)

Max of data frame retransmission

Maximum of data frame rebroadcast allowed without acknowledgement. When reached, a low-level failure condition is detected and the data link is disconnected.

Default value = 15
