Re: 8088 Reset
Enable connection to 8088 via OXE's telnet :
Command "ippstat".
Choice 15 (Timeout for telnet session of IP Touch set).
Enter the directory number of the set.
Set the timer to 1440 (for example).
Get the IP Address of the set through its interface or via command "ippstat d <directory number>".
Connect to the set via SSH :
Command "ssh -2 admin@<ip address of set>".
Use default password "*tx8000#" or use the one specified in OXE's Series 8 & 9 Parameters.
Once connected to the set via SSH, type the "reset flash" command to perform the factory reset.

Re: 8088 Reset
Actually I do not have a Oxe installed, I got the phone from a leftover of a demo pack.
Could I use the phone without Oxe ? I Would like to use it as a personal use just with a SIP account at my ISP.
Thanks

Re: 8088 Reset
You need to get into the programming mode then.
While the phone is in PHASE 2, press the i key (not on the keyboard, but at the bottom of the screen), and then the # key
Then somewhere in there, there is a menu to switch the phone from NOE into SIP
Once you do that, you can add your account (still need to be done in the config I think) after it reboots.

Re: 8088 Reset
on 8088 there is no i key on screen nor #
After all this time, I finnaly found the defaut admin password *tx8000# to bu used in the settings menu
I then converted to SIP, managed to host config files on a HTTP sever, and setup a account from https://www.ippi.com/
even if 8088 manage to connect to the server, dial fails

Re: 8088 Reset
That's a totally different issue there. you should run traces on your network to look at SIP messages and see what fails. Does the phone sends a number to dial? Is IPPI yelling at you because you need authentication? Etc..
