Conection EMTL trunk to PLC ( eksternal pabx )

any one can help me.


i have problem in my site that is when i conneted to PLC ( external pabx ) using 4 wire EMTL
1. my Emtl trunk can`t communicated with 4 wire using EMTl to PLC but PLC can comunicate with alcatel.
2. i suspect the EMTL can`t send signal to PLC pabx, any body know where to know signaling 4 wire EMTL card ?

With 2 wireds, the signalization is in 50Hz or Frequency (ie : Q23 or 2280Hz)
With 4 wireds, you are 2 solutions :
- 2 wireds for voice and 2 for signalization (E&M)
- 4 wireds for voice and 2 for signalization (E&M or Frequency) (it's not really 4 wireds, but an usually language error)
The first step is to determine how many wired you have really, 2 or 4 or 6
The second the protocol to use (peer or master/slave)
The third the signalization (50Hz, E&M, Q23, 2280Hz, etc..)
And tempos between the two systems.

A good method is to make a loop on local board, after on remote system without the remote board, and the same thing to the remote system. If your two connexions are OK, you can connect EM -> REC, REC->EM, and signalization if necessary.
And after, it's "just" a protocol configuration...

Hi All..
We have Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Enterprise and wanted to connect it with another PABX on analog link. The EMTL cards of this OmniPCX gives -48Volt on 4a and 0 Volt on 4b pin on MDF.
When we try to check voltage seizure by inter-connecting 4a and 4b, we get busy LED (on EMTL) but only for upto three ports. For rest of three ports, we are not getting the Busy LED.
Please help.

Hi All,

We have many M/s KAREL make and M/s MATRIX make PABX installed at various locations. Hence, we want to use those idle PABX.
This Alcatel shall connect with those PABX using Power Line Carrier Communication link (Trunk Line) using DTMF/Pulse Dialing Mode.
The Jumper Setting on EMTL card is now resolved provided xi03, xi04, xi05, & xi06.
We are using 6 wire communication- E, M, Tx, Tx1, Rx & Rx1.
So my queries reduce to:-
1) What shall be the jumper settings for xi03, xi04, xi05, & xi06?
2) How to change Number of Sets connected?
3) How to change Main/StandBy State?
