Stacking Ports use as Uplink or Ip Interface

Hello Everyone,

I have a little question.

I want to know, can i used the Stacking Ports of Alcatel Omni Switches like (OS6400 and OS6850) as ip Interface or as Uplinks to other Switches.

I dont want to use the Stacking Ports to Stack the Switches.

I hope one of you can help me and i hope you are don't confuse of my question.
