Hello everyone,
I'm a new administrator and have been handed responsibility for an Alcatel implementation that's been around since probably 2007. The main box is an OmniPCX crystal, two branch offices use an OmniPCX 50.
I have a whole raft of questions about how to make it do things, but for starters, where can I find administrators guides? In particular, I'm looking for Automated Attendant configuration instructions. Like, "Where is the button that lets me create or edit an AA leaf". It may seem obvious to you who have done it for a while, but I can't find it, and I can't figure out why I can't find it. I don't actually want anyone here to answer that specific question, I just use that as an example.
In-person training is not an option.

after a while, you will have access to the documentation on this web site. it's throttled down to avoid spammers and bots.
on the other hand, do you have access to a business partner? They can give it to you at the mean time.

Re: Pretty Basic Question - Where are the manuals?
Hi Frank,
The short answer is no, I don't have a vendor relationship that could produce manuals.
I've received some limited help before, but it translates to paying for an engineer to come onsite and show my things in person. I'm looking for a holistic starting set so I don't have to keep spending budget to learn.

Re: Pretty Basic Question - Where are the manuals?
Our voicemail uses a third-party repartee system. All voice guides for the AA are saved onboard the OXE. Sorry if that's not what you're asking!
GUI is OmniVista 4760.
Thank you for the help!
