8770 r4.2 on win server2019
hi
i installed the 8770 R4.2 on a server2019,it ends sucessfully.i have to declare my OXE R12.4 on this server, siteid gives these parameters:
network :0
Node :1
So in the 8770 i do the following settings:
networks =1 ,subnetwork =0 and node =1 , but i have a MIB synchronisation error

have you put adfexc, swinst and mtcl parameters in

Re: 8770 r4.2 on win server2019
you must set this Parameter:anisbou wrote: ↑15 Apr 2021 07:13 hi

Re: 8770 r4.2 on win server2019
iproutes are ok , ov8770 IS IN THE TRUSTED LIST, netadmin -m option 2 to see subnetwork number

Actually it's written in Documentation how to create OXE node in 8770.
If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.
Re: 8770 r4.2 on win server2019
The oxe and 8770 are in the same lan and we can telnet oxe from ov8770 server
As i said node is 1 and network is 0

Re: 8770 r4.2 on win server2019
In the documentation we must set
Network:1
Subnetwork:0
Node:1

Re: 8770 r4.2 on win server2019
netadmin -m option 2 u will see your subnet number , all my nodes are under subnet=0 so declaration in ov 0-0- nodenumber
Re: 8770 r4.2 on win server2019
according to the omnivista 8770 documentation:
If the subnetwork contains OmniPCX Enterprise nodes, the subnetwork number must be equal to the network number of OmniPCX Enterprise nodes
When you declare an OmniPCX Enterprise, the node number must comply with OmniPCX Enterprise configuration and must be declared according to one of the following syntax:
• R x 100 + N, by default
• R x 1000 + N, if specified at node installation
R = subnetwork number and N = node number
Note:
Errors made during entry are not corrected. if an error is made, the node must be deleted and created again.
Example:
For node 5 (N=5) which belongs to subnetwork 2 (R=2), according to the case:
• Node Number field = 205
• Node Number field = 2005
that means when in OXE you have Network=1 and node=1 in 8770 you must set Subnetwor=1 and Subnetwork-Nodenumber=101
