DHCP Server Configuration on the OmniSwitch 6850E.

i have configured dhcp-server enable command on the Omni Switch 6850E below

Have you tried an copy and paste from the docs to check whether it works in general?

I would upgrade to latest code as there where multiple bugs fixed regarding dhcp.

If you have correct dhcpd.pcy and dhcpd.conf, I found that you have to do in this order:

dhcp-server restart
dhcp-server enable

its a dhcp-policy file. It can be an empty file with this name.

dhcp.pcy is the config file for the dhcp.
It is described in the manuals and an example can be gathered from https://service.esd.alcatel-lucent.com/ ... c6ToRdx5gi

I would upgrade to the latest code, afaik there have been multiple bugs fixed, which were related to dhcp.
Also from my experiences: If you have abother box that can do dhcp (Firewall/Server) it would be a good idea to use that one instead of the switch.
