you don't need to activate anything - snmp agent is running. The ip service snmp is active per default. So you use only to activate the access via the "aaa authentication" command and you need a "normal" user with the necessary rights and the used method (f.e. sha+des).

Dear,
Good Morning
I'm still having trouble implementing SNMP, SYSLOG they don't communicate with the server.
What do I need to do to get this switch to communicate with snmp v2?
Can someone help me?
Below is the configuration.

! Trap Manager:
snmp station 172.100.0.20 161 "public###@@@" v2 enable

! SNMP:
snmp security no-security
snmp authentication-trap enable
snmp community-map mode enable
snmp community-map hash-key c47fdc198d69417e user "public###@@@" enable

! AAA:
aaa authentication default "local"
aaa authentication console "local"
aaa authentication http "local"
aaa authentication snmp "local"
aaa authentication ssh "local"

! System Service:
swlog output socket 172.100.0.30

you know the community for the configured hash-key?
Is there a user "public###@@@" with read-write (or read-only) all no auth?

Hello, Silvio!

Yes, i know
Is there a user "public###@@@" with read-write (or read-only) all no auth?
In the case of the company, it would be read-only without authentication!
Could you tell me how to proceed?

your community is maped to this user. So the rights for the community are comming from this user.
in case of snmp-v1/v2 (very unsecure - not recomended) the user needs "read-only all no auth".

command: user public###@@@ password not-Important123 read-only all no auth
I prefere to use snmp-v3.
